If Uptime Infrastructure Monitor is running (as generally recommended) on a dedicated, secure server, it is recommended to not run anti-virus or other disk scanning applications on the monitoring station as these types of applications can have a negative impact on system performance.
If an anti-virus (or similar) application is running on the Uptime Infrastructure Monitor monitoring station, it should be configured to run at the minimum frequency allowed by your IT policy and set up to explicitly not scan disks where the database resides or the file system where Uptime Infrastructure Monitor log files are stored.
